1. Go to the 8171 web portal: https://8171.bisp.gov.pk/
2. Enter your CNIC number in the “شناختی کارڈ نمبر” field.
3. Enter the code displayed in the image in the “تصویر میں دیا گیا کوڈ” field.
4. Click the “چیک کریں” button.

If your CNIC is valid, you will see a message that says “آپ کا شناختی کارڈ درست ہے”. If your CNIC is not valid, you will see a message that says “آپ کا شناختی کارڈ درست نہیں ہے”.

Note: The 8171 web portal is only available in Urdu.

Here are some alternative ways to check your CNIC online:

• NADRA website: Go to the NADRA website and click on the “CNIC Validation” link in the “Services” menu. Enter your CNIC number and click the “Validate” button.
• NADRA mobile app: Download the NADRA mobile app from the Google Play Store or the Apple App Store. Once you have installed the app, open it and click on the “CNIC Validation” option. Enter your CNIC number and click the “Validate” button.
• By phone: Call NADRA’s helpline at 111-786-119 and provide your CNIC number to the customer service representative. They will be able to tell you whether your CNIC is valid or not.
