BISP New Payment Check By CNIC:
The Benazir Income Support Programme (BISP) has recently launched a new payment system that allows beneficiaries to check their payment status and withdraw their cash using their CNIC only. This system is known as the Biometric Verification System (BVS).
To check your BISP payment status using your CNIC, you can either:
- Send your CNIC number to 8171 via SMS.
- Visit the BISP website and enter your CNIC number in the “Check Payment Status” section.
If you are eligible for a BISP payment, you will receive a confirmation message with your payment details. You can then withdraw your cash from any of the designated BISP payment centers by presenting your CNIC and affixing your thumb impression.
Important: The BVS is currently only available in selected areas of Pakistan. To check if the BVS is available in your area, you can visit the BISP website or contact the BISP helpline at 0800-26477.
Here are the steps on how to withdraw your BISP payment using your CNIC:
- Visit any of the designated BISP payment centers.
- Present your CNIC to the cashier.
