The Benazir Income Support Programme (BISP) is a social protection program in Pakistan that provides cash assistance to poor and vulnerable households. The program was launched in 2008 by the then-Prime Minister, Benazir Bhutto, and is currently the largest cash transfer program in Pakistan.

حکومت نے ایک پروجیکٹ شروع کیا تھا پاکستان پورٹی ایولیشن فنڈ اور اس کا مقصد یہ تھا کہ جن علاقوں کے اندر غربت زیادہ ہے وہاں پر کام شروع کیا جائے تو یہ جو کام ہے شروع بھی کیا گیا تھا اور کافی سارے جو لوگ ہیں وہ یہاں پر پریشان بھی تھے کہ ان کے بنیادی جو مسائل ہیں وہ حل نہیں ہو رہے تھے تو تکفیف غربت کے حوالے سے جب یہ پروگرام ایا تو اس میں تقریبا 35 پروجیکٹ تھے تو ان تمام پروجیکٹ کے اندر لوگوں کو ہیلپ دی جاتی تھی لوگوں کو پیسے دیے جاتے تھے تو ان کو جیسے کہ پانی کے لیے موٹر وغیرہ لگوا کے دے دینا اور مویشی وغیرہ دے دینا تو اس طرح کے ٹیکنیکل الات دے دینا سلائی مشینیں دے دینا چھوٹی جو دکان ہے وہ کھلوا کر دے دینا تو اس طرح کے جو پروجیکٹ ہیں وہ اس میں شامل کیے گئے تھے اگر اپ نے ان پر اپلائی کرنا ہے تو اس کے لیے اپ پاکستان پوٹی ایولیشن فنڈ کا انتخاب کریں گے اور اس میں اپلائی کریں گے اور اس کے ساتھ جو 9 ہزار روپے کی قسط ہے یہ انشاءاللہ اپ لوگوں کو 2 اکتوبر سے حکومت کی جانب سے ملنا شروع ہو جائے گی
BISP Registration Check by CNIC 2023:
There are two ways to check your BISP registration status by CNIC in 2023:
1. Online
To check your BISP registration status online, you can follow these steps:
- Go to the BISP website: https://bisp.gov.pk/
- Click on the “Eligibility Check” tab.
- Enter your CNIC number in the given field.
- Click on the “Check” button.
You will be able to see your BISP registration status on the next page.
2. SMS
To check your BISP registration status by SMS, you can text your CNIC number to 8171. You will receive a reply message with your BISP registration status.
Please note that the BISP website and SMS service are only available during working hours (9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday to Friday).
If you are unable to check your BISP registration status online or by SMS, you can contact the BISP helpline at 0800-277-786.
Example:
If your CNIC number is 35403-1234567-8, you would text “3540312345678” to 8171. You will receive a reply message with your BISP registration status.
Example reply messages:
- You are registered with BISP.
- You are not registered with BISP.
- Your eligibility status is pending.
