BISP, or Benazir Income Support Program, is a federal unconditional cash transfer poverty reduction program in Pakistan. 8171 Rashaan Online Registration:
As of October 25, 2023, there is no online registration for the Ehsaas Rashaan Program through 8171. The only way to register for the program is to send an SMS to 8123 with your CNIC number.
To register for the Ehsaas Rashaan Program through SMS, follow these steps:
- Open your SMS app.
- Type “8123” in the recipient field.
- Type your CNIC number in the message field.
- Send the SMS.
If you are eligible for the program, you will receive a confirmation SMS from 8123 within 24 hours. You can then start using your Rashaan Card to purchase subsidized food items from participating retailers.
The government of Pakistan is currently working on developing an online registration system for the Ehsaas Rashaan Program. However, there is no timeline for when this system will be launched.
In the meantime, the only way to register for the program is to send an SMS to 8123 with your CNIC number.
